April and I have had our rough patches. We don't always see eye to eye on everything. And sometimes we hurt each other when we really don't mean to.

[And then sometimes Will gets murdered so Christmas is canceled.]

That's part of any relationship. Even friendships will involve disagreements or time spent apart. It's how you act after the problem comes to light that matters.

Speaking as someone who was once an 18 year old boy, there's a lot of room to be scummier than what I've seen from Reggie.

There's always going to be someone out there who doesn't like the choices you make. Some of those people will have issue from what they feel is a valid place. Sometimes their concerns are valid. But a lot of people like to judge others because it makes them feel better about themselves. Because they've got nothing else to do with their time, they've got nothing else going for them. They're miserable and want everyone else to be as miserable as they are.
You can't please the world. Trust me, it's never going to happen. Regardless of how safe you play something, there is going to be a voice saying you're doing something wrong.
So do what you feel is best. Do what makes you happy. Stay informed. Use the care necessary.
You're 18. You're entitled to certain privileges at this age. You should enjoy them, not worry about them.
