[God, what? What? What is going on? Christ. He's been contacted by few people since his time here, and as much as he likes being left alone, he does desire Abigail to drop him a line every now and then. Once a week, at least. But he's not her dad, and just because he killed him doesn't mean he gets to be him.

Still...it would be nice, even if it was something he didn't know how to react to. This?

Jesus. It's worse because not only does he read the words and despise them, he reads them and the voice in his head saying it? Not his, and not the one he'd want to discuss recipes with, either.]

Sure. Where do you want to start? You could do by meal, like breakfast, lunch, and dinner. We could do by ingredients or baking, but my little book of desserts is mostly stuff already made that I just have to heat up. I might not be so helpful there. Where should we start with our recipe conversation?

There's lots of kinds of meat. You'll have to be more specific.

I haven't had any meat since I came to Asgard, so I can give you recipes but I can't make them on my own. I'm on a seafood and poultry only diet in that regard.

So what's it going to be: cow, pig, deer, rabbit, what?

Fried alligator on a stick was an attraction at a festival I went to once. The others just kind of happened. Where I grew up, it wasn't so weird. Except the snake, that was weird.

[Who else would be asking this, honestly? He walked into the trap without realizing it, something he'd done for nearly a year back home. This time he didn't have any chance to get out of it.

A bitter bloody mess if you could stop screaming in pain long enough. Fingertips are especially sensitive. Honestly, it would probably be all blood unless you stanched it and just let your bone stick out.

And then you could try. If you hadn't fainted. Doesn't sound very savory.

There have been pretty bad nights at the symphony before. We could do that, if you want to be dramatic. Even find a fat lady to sing when it's all over with.

Everyone has different tastes in music. I'm just not a fan of the symphony as of late. All those jealous second chairs trying to steal first chair, competition for solo parts, brass and woodwind rivalry...nasty business if someone within it is less than pleasant.
