I...can't fathom how they would. Know where to start. [Hopefully the blunt nature of that bleak answer is softened by the fact Will sounds miserable saying it. This situation is one he is NOT a fan of, he makes no attempts to hide that.] There is speculation based on what we know from those taken, but. It's a big world. Narrowing down possibilities could take a while until we have something much more specific.

I hate this. Waiting. [Elsa has always been a doer, but there's nothing to do here except wait. For an opportunity or a rescue, whichever comes first.]
no subject
[She can't be the only one in that dump thinking that the whole waiting game is a bunch of shit. And Will isn't the only one outside that dump who finds not knowing, not being able to do anything immediately as much of an insult as everything else.]
April says they've got some other Porter. Have you talked to it?
no subject
[Yeah, yeah, she knows that isn't what Will meant by it, but she's not feeling a ton of solidarity with her fellow prisoners at the moment.]
And no, I haven't. You can't appeal to a machine. I'd have more luck breaking one of the guards. [Although so far she has had no luck there at all.]
no subject
What if the machine has control of where you are? Does anyone know?
no subject
[It speaks to them through an intercom, after all. She's listened to quite a few pointless exchanges.]
no subject
[Because he figures that, yes, she has heard some pointless shit and had to refrain from telling people to shut the fuck up. Showing some solidarity here feels right.]
no subject
[So here she is, making her own noise to cope.]
no subject
I imagine that doesn't do anything to help everyone else's nerves. Which one's the worst?
[Tell him your aural disgust, Elsa. Make noise about the noise you hate the most. Let it all out.]

[It's right up there with "Margaritaville" and "Shots" for 'songs you don't want to hear when you're experiencing withdrawal.' Or trapped in a confined space. Or ever, really...]
no subject
How far along in the song did he get before you shut him up?
no subject
Not very.

You probably saved him from someone else actually going through with opening his throat, you realize.
[HOW NOBLE OF YOU ELSA]
