He was out for a while. Came back looking poorly.

Nothing wrong with his hands. Honestly speaking, he looked like he got mugged by a particularly gung ho assailant who cared more about the process than getting whatever was in his wallet.

Seems to me if any of us were smart, we'd take this to the authorities, or someone who could put a stop to him better than just lashing out. Going back and forth in our civil war until we're far more scarred than we needed to be and dragging others in who have no business being involved doesn't feel smart at all.

It's not new. Nice to have a second opinion, though.

Crane seems to be the one intent on making his statement. Whatever that is, it's going to be what continues to draw people towards him. Do you believe the authorities will handle that any more definitively than us?

It's like a siege. The darkness of the looming threat is a constant, and there isn't much to do to escape it within the pillars of reason, but it's familiar and preferable to the rare days they throw flaming heads over the wall. At least until starvation drops in, but by then it's too late.
The closer we are to one another, the more violent we become.
The violence is inevitable, whether it's in rejecting our humanity or defending it.
