[It's been three long days since Mike Parker has gotten any sleep and, lying flat-out on the floor in his room, he can hear every. single. sound. in De Chima Residence #002.

Every. Single. Sound.

Including that forlorn deer bleating noise jingle Will's communicator makes when it gets a new call or text. That jingle that carries on for a bit when Will doesn't answer the communicator.

That jingle that keeps jingling every couple of hours.

The jingle that jingles yet again late Monday night. Mike finally scrambles up to his feet and marches down the hall to give Will a piece of his mind.

He raps quickly and lightly on the door and then thrusts said door open and leans right in.]

You playin' hard to get or what?

[... Or what, apparently. Only Gunther is there to greet him.]

Will? [Mike wanders on in to Will's room, confused and suspicious. There is Will's dog and there is Will's communicator and Will is... somewhere... else???] Ohhh Willll...?

[Mike scoots sideways toward Will's bed, scans the room one last time, and then bends low to look under the bed. Will? ... Nope.

Maybe in the closet? ... Nope.

Bathroom. ... Nope.]

Huh. [Will... must be out. Doing something. Maybe something important! Sure seems weird of him to leave both the communicator and the dog behind, though.

Oh well.

Mike goes to take his leave of Will's room, but not before pocketing his roomie's communicator and motioning for Gunther to follow him out.]
