It's fiction. Nothing about that in there. I'm not sure if I'd recommend it. I haven't read in a while myself. It's a really good example of what's called literary nonsense. If you read it as a story about a curious young girl who falls into a world filled with creatures and politics she doesn't understand, it might be fine.

[If she reads it as a child might, it could be worthwhile. If she consumes the alternate meanings the way Alice consumes words and food and reacts with her stomach...perhaps not a great choice.]

[ she wouldn't be able to read it like a child might. as a novel, it's a chancier one to take in, mull over, press her lips into a thin line and wonder what it says about the places the author had come from. ]

March 22nd. I can head in and help out at the bait shop this weekend. There's still dance, Saturday night, but after Shinjiro in the morning, I'm caught up on school. Nothing else planned. My time's yours.

The math involved isn't very difficult and keeping things running up to code is something I'm used to. It's mostly the live bait that has stopped me from bringing anyone else.
