He was probably leading his wallet by a string to lure the mugger closer. He really ought to stop surprising people capable of defending themselves. Might really hurt himself one of these days.
Wonder who he jumped to get that reaction. Raina couldn't have managed that much from what I saw.

I won't repeat the manner of things she kept on about when hallucinating, then.
[ Because she's a pal or something. (Or something) ]
If she's smart then she'll have to retaliate to gain some sort of footing, since I think it's only a matter of time before he tries something again. This seemed personal. She was strangled.
But because of that personal factor, I don't know if she would have it in her to follow through to the end. It might be a surprise. He did attack Frederick, after all.

[ Give her a beat before she addresses the rest. Because it's worth a different branch of thought, though it's just a hop and skip away and not actually an alien one to her. Long considered. Long processed.
This is an old game. ]
Is that a new feeling for you?

I have no interest dragging others in, but no doubt it will happen.
Crane seems to be the one intent on making his statement. Whatever that is, it's going to be what continues to draw people towards him. Do you believe the authorities will handle that any more definitively than us?
[ It isn't entirely rhetorical, but worth asking. He would know better than other imPorts. And if he's thinking of her being dragged, she can handle being dragged down to the depths of Hell. She has a time share. ]
It's like a siege. The darkness of the looming threat is a constant, and there isn't much to do to escape it within the pillars of reason, but it's familiar and preferable to the rare days they throw flaming heads over the wall. At least until starvation drops in, but by then it's too late.
The closer we are to one another, the more violent we become.
The violence is inevitable, whether it's in rejecting our humanity or defending it.

Ok those are some niche interests but I'm pretty sure I can swing something.
And of course I do! You got married!! Does she like rats? I bet they have some ratatouille stuff
It's a disney movie about a rat that cooks and I feel like that's a good combination of animals and garbage and food

You're speaking a lot on what we could do, but obviously that all occurred to you in the very beginning. You weren't just waiting for enough evidence to make a case, were you?
[ That's a rhetorical question. Simon didn't say.
Now who's the one with the imagery, Will Graham? Don't think she's not playing back those phone conversations she heard. Even just from Raina's end... It was interesting (that's the nice word). ]
We need a new word for humanity, I suppose. It's too limiting.

[ Has to is heavy. It's something that requires too much reliance.
But she vastly prefers nothing. ]
L’appel du vide.
